- I am a leading figure in the school library media field, receiving numerous grants and honors.
- I have written extensively on a wide variety of subjects salient to running, maintaining, and advertising a media center.
- I have a great personality! No, seriously: I sit on numerous associations and hob knob with the leaders of your profession. Therefore, I probably have some influence on your program, and consequently, my long, iron reach spreads to the deepest corners of your media center. No one can hide from Dr. Kay Bishop! My eyes are everywhere! My shadow stretches farther than Sauron’s!
“Well guys, it’s sure been fun, but I’ll let you go now. Just remember, I’m a professor, I run a lot of programs and grants, such as the school library media program at the University of Buffalo, I know a lot of other people through my various associations, and I’ve written a ton of stuff, as you can see above. I’ve received a lot of rewards and you wouldn’t believe the lack of room on my mantle piece from all the honors I’ve received. Also, I’m such a star in the library media world, that graduate students in towns I’ve never visited, make 14-page-long presentations about me!”

Kyle,
Nice use of humor...the first-person POV and the reference to Sauron gave this a fun, readable feel.
My only suggestion to improve this would be to streamline the long, long, long bibliography of accomplishments, which I'll admit I skimmed over because it was so darn long.
But, overall, nice job! :)
